Through collaboration with Semillas de Solidaridad, FACES is able to accompany the youth in Suchitoto. It is a small scholarship project run from the U.S. in coordination with small Salvadoran communities. Their activities with the young people focus on the literary, academic, cultural, and communal connections necessary for Salvadoran youth to prosper. The funds raised in the United States are transferred through FACES and provide funding for two scholarships. In exchange for the scholarships, the students coordinate literacy activities in Suchitoto, Cuscatlan, El Salvador.
